The range of my projects showcase my deep curiosity in nature and humanity. 

​

Growing up in Devon, I developed a key interest in the UK's hugely diverse wildlife - and much of my work revolves around the celebration and conservation of British birds of land and sea.

​

My experimentation with expressive strokes and bold composition in portraiture demonstrates a fascination with the human spirit. Working in music and theatre has fostered this intrigue in the relationships between people and cultures; my art projects seek to extend this love for highlighting the theatricality, energy and soul of the subjects.

I now live and work in Hitchin, Hertfordshire with my ever-motivating wife, Ellen and my ever-distracting dog, Favour. I am currently available for commissions - please browse through the examples on the home page.
